This module is great of the files are stored somewhere or on the same server. My question is this: Is there a Mydownloads that will also let you upload or a mod-hack for the current MyDownloads to do this feature?

I think there is nothing newer.
Also there is (or was?) a problem when uploading a file which has capital letters in the name.
