I'm using the module xDirectory which works well with my site. However, since most of the businesses that will list with my site are going to be home based businesses, I need to get rid of the "map" link that calls up a map from Yahoo.

Anyone familiar with this module and where I can go to find that portion and remove it? I thought it was in the "xdir_link.html" file, but it doesn't disappear for me. Any help would be appreciated!

Also look in the file templates/xdir_listingfull.html then update the module.
hope this helps.

OK - I need a little more help with this xDirectory. I am not a PHP programmer, although I can pretty much install and troubleshoot anything.

There are two major things missing with the xDirectory. If someone can help me put them in, I would forever be in your debt.

1. When you click on a listing to see the listing, there is no link to that listing's website. The information is collected, but is not linked. Can somebody help?

2. When a listing is submitted, it is rather awkward to approve it, but it is doable. However, the listing that is being edited need to have the listing number included, because that is how the listing is approved - by site or listing number.

Thanks for any help anyone can give!!

First, this module is not 100% complete. There is a thread here to read:

https://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=11729&forum=4#forumpost61882

But I think you need to go into the database in the 'xdir_links' table and set the field 'premium' to the value of '1' to get the website to show in the listing.

As I said the version you have is not complete, builderb will be releasing a new version very soon. Read the newest part of the thread above. Hope that helps.

Thanks so much! I've bookmarked that thread for future reading. Can't wait for the update.
