Can anyone tell me is there away to just put Avatars in a file and point to that location for the Avatars? For the life of me I can not find where the Avatars are stored in this system?

Do you mean for here on the XOOPS site, or for your own site? If it's for here, you have to upload a new Avatar each time you want to change it. This deletes and replaces your old Avatar.

Assuming you mean in your own XOOPS site, avatars go into your MySQL database. That's why it's kind of a pain to have to either upload them one at a time or use a sql routine to write in a group of avatars to the database.

Thanks for the help, that is what I though that they were in the database. I have been adding them one by one. I have some 500 avatars for my site I am only half way done. I would have done a SQL script, but I am not well verused in SQL yet. Thanks for all the help.
