- currency symbol
It can change from admin menu.

- layout of item list
It can change from template admin.

- layout of mail message
changed annonces-p-f.php, contact.php, include/function.php and admin/index.php

Will this work in English X? I tried grabbing it from the JP site but most admin functions give a messed up screen of output (variable names, SQL, junk). I hope I don't have something else wrong.... (yes I read the readme.txt)

One option might be to install a previous version and then patch with this version. I dunno...My admin seems fine...though

There must be something wonky on my site then. I'm running the latest and greatest versions of just about all the pieces.

Possibly related is a problem I have with a handful of Admin functions that complete but return to a page of garbage. When I tied the same from a Windows machine it wanted to download admin.php instead of parsing it.

I think I should see what myAds does under a Win browser.

I'd really like to get this one working as it would be a good fit on my board I'm building for a car club. The members are always trying to buy/sell/trade their car goodies to each other.

my version is running but not public yet as I am still tweeking its look and some other configs.

Here is a potential problem ...it may sound redundant to you but just in case....

-Often when I unzip something, I might put it into a demo folder and then move it to the modules directory. But since I have inheritable permissions set...the access rights are not correct. Therefore now I make sure I unzip to the modules directory...in this case the file is tar...so you have to go a folder deeper...pull out the MYADS folder and place it in the modules folder.

Check the permission settings as defined in the english read me text--before install.

Finally, run PHP debug....ignore WARNINGS find that FATAL ERROR....it may lead you to an "include/" directory
error...if so your culprit lies in there....

But of course I think we are running different servers. Mine is Win-2k and IIS---

Nothing is showing up in PHP debug (I assume it should popup a window like the other debugs?) Any MyAds module screen places lots of code in the top half of the admin screen and then the module's configs. With lots of scrolling I can for example add an Ad or Price type. But little else and all screens output a mess.

Some other things that output garbage are after the final Submit of changes in the Modules main screen. Example I change the Module name or order. I get the second screen to confirm and then garbage on the screen. The changes are actually made though. From Windows this same thing offers to download admin.php instead of spitting it to the screen.

The MyAds module just outputs code to the screen. So this could be a different issue.
