Press the space bar - that should do the trick!

lykoszine, I'm not anti Microsoft or anything like that...but have you tried the Mozilla series of browsers? (Phoenix etc)

They have this thingy called type ahead. Basically, I just type the the first few characters of a link and the focus would jump to the link. Just press enter after that.

Its great if you need to find a link in a messy web page.

I'm certain, most Mozilla users swears by it. Once you've used it, you'll never need to lift your hands off the keyboard to use the mouse ever again....

Anggarda,

Cheers for the headsup. Yeah, I installed Firebird a whileback, but it totally and utterly crashed my system (XP) every so often when I had more than one or 2 windows open. No CNTRL+AlT+DEL, no keyboard, no nothin!

So I scrapped it.

Not too keen on Mozilla stright. I was testing K-Meleon, and was relativly impressed, but that has started crashing too (just the browser, not the OS, thank fuk)

Don't know if K-Meleon has 'type ahead', but I'll give it a go.

The query was acutally prompted by wanting to speed some data entry up at work, and is not browser related at all (although that has been niggling at me for ages), and also works fine.

So there is my life story.... lol
