how can i open the registration on my xoops?

i just install the portal and the registration is closed..
someone can help me?

To control user registration in your site, go to Admin > Preferences > User Info Settings. The first option you'll see there is a radio button with the label "Allow new user registration?". This should be set to Yes. Then click on the button "Go!" at the bottom of the page. That's all.

but the "User Info Settings" on my portal is empty...
i have there only one button (GO)

i can fix it or i need to reinstall?

Before doing something as drastic as reinstalling, go to Admin > Modules. Look for the System module and click on the icon to update the module. Maybe this will solve your problems.

i already tried it..
and nothing happened

there is a way to save the changes i make in the portal?
