I've found very good game module running on postnuke: pnFlashGames.
Ypu can find it here: http://noc.postnuke.com/projects/pnflashgames/

I think if someone port this modules to XOOPS it will be great.

This site offers 814 free flash games that you can get the html source code of and intregrate them into your XOOPS site.

http://www.freeflashintros.com/site/display.php?cat=Games&g1=11&g2=22

I'm going to try it out myself.

This is how! http://magazine.crazy4realitytv.com/modules/cjaycontent/index.php?id=88

I created an html page in cjaycontent.

Here is what I wrote in the page that you can see in the link above.

Flash Games

You have to have the macromedia flash player installed on your computer in order to view and play these games.
If you don't already have it, you can download it for free here.

The javascripts came from the freeflashintros.com site. When you click on a game icon the game loads into a popup window.

Re: pnFlashGames module

You can create as many flash games pages as you want in cjaycontent to hold the games you want. You would just need to add a menu to each page to link all the pages together. Such as page one, page two and so on.

Just wondering, is it possible to implement high scores?

Re: pnFlashGames module

With the ones I'm using on my site, no. The games are run on another site and I tested some of them and don't see any high scores. Only one that I know of has a login feature to it and that one may keep your score for you for every time you play it.

That postnuke module listed in the first post above does have top scores saved for it.

To save high scores I think we need to edit flash files. I don't have any knowledge about flash, but I think (and I'm not sure) we cannot edit *.swf files, *.swf files are compiled flash files, so we need source files of flash games.

Home page of pnFlashGames has tens of flash games, not hundreds of free flash games. I think they change some free flash games to work with pnFlashGames. So unaltered flash games will not work with pnFlashGames.
