From two different sites running XOOPS 2.0.5.1 I got reports that the site is crashing Internet Explorer. I was never able to reproduce this problem. In both cases the browser used was IE 6.

Did anybody else run into this issue?

Nope. I have used IE6 ever since it was first released and I have never had it crash while on my XOOPS sites or anyone else's.

I think I did find the problem. On both sites I am using awstats and recently I installed a script called awstats_misc_tracker.js. Aparently this JavaScript code is killing some installations of IE6.
