some progressive web hosting companies are providing XOOPS as part of hosting packages.

for my part, XOOPS is a graduated process. i still do not understand it all and i remain consistent in trying to screw up my site. so, i encourage all potential xoopers to hang in there, its fun.

I'm agree with hsalazar, ... you don't give the keys of your house to any stranger so easily, .. giving access to cpanel to someone is trusting all your data and info to someone you don't really know, even if is as you said for a genuine helping gesture.

Other have here too good hosting packages and XOOPS as the primary core, I just advise anyone to ask questions instead of letting someone use your main door key
