using: 2.0.5

I changed the footer and the copyright statement and saved and don't see the changes on the webpage. So I confirmed that my changes were saved and they were.

So where is the footer supposed to appear?

Is there a news specific footer? I need this for disclaimer statements

Which theme you useing, some have footer info as a graphic rather than words set in the admin, I think the XOOPS default theme foot is a graphic.

have a look in your themes file for images, or on the webpage, by right clicking on the info it would prob say save image as.

hope this is of help.

i believe, once you have saved new footer info, you need to udpdate in sys admin -> preferences -> general settings -> update module template. set to yes and submit.

thanks mate, lol.

Generally is because some theme designers use graphics to make it more complicated for site owners to change copyright info.
