Hi!
My registered users are not able to view their personal profile. When they press "View account" they only get a screen saying that they are not authorized.

I have tryied to add almost all privilges to the registered users in the admin -> groups menu but nothing helps.

I have seen other people having the same problem but I have not seen any solution.

I am using XOOPS 2.0.5 on a Debian Linux system with apache.

Is there anyone that has any solution for this problem?

Re: User is unable to view account

are you using any modules that would replace either of the user.php or the userinfo.php files? Maybe IPB or the phpBB modules?

I have never been able to duplicate this problem with the core distribution.

Hi!
No I am not using any of those modules.
I ran a diff of the original version of both userinfo.php and user.php with the versions on my site but they are identical.

Now I managed to get it to work.
It was the mantis bug tracker module that caused the fault.

When I enable access to it the users could see their information.

I'm glad that you discovered the root of the problem. I'd still like to know what about mantis caused the view account link to fail.

Sounds like I'll need to load up that module and check it out.

Hi!
Thanks for your concern.

I have never read a php file before so I am not that good in debuging it.

My guess though is that the loop at the end of userinfo.php when it looks like all modules are checked is where the error occurs.

Let me know if I can help with information if you look deeper into it.

Hmmm, I have not observed this problem. Maybe a problem with the searching function of mantis? Any error messages displayed? (Might have to add an 'exit' somewhere in the code to break out of endless loop...)

Also make sure to apply the 'XOOPS_ROOT_PATH' fix described in the forums:
