With reference to our log-in problem:
see this thread

I am now wondering if the "Header.php" could be the culprit.
On the CVS, there is a "roll back" version and the current version.

One clearly defines the use of smarty the other does not..
Which one should we be using...given this error?

this is important if it has "anything" to do with user, checklogin....

UPDATE-10/2

I had explored this because I was trying to solve a problem . I fixed it and it had nothing to do with header.php. It always has been my understanding that cvs is not a good idea to experiment with unless you really know what you are doing and how that file affects others. So if you have read this with curiosity and concern, dont worry.

Official releases are just that. my bad...
