Dumb mistake - Please help

I installed XOOPS 2.x today (first-timer). I removed the capability for "anonymous" users to login. So having logged out - I cannot log back in as "root" (my admin acct). I looked thru the db to try to figure out how to manually re-enable login support but had not success. Can anyone tell me how to login (as admin). Otherwise I guess I will need to re-install...

How did you remove the possibility to login ?
If you just kicked the "login" block, you can come back
going directly to /user.php at the root of your site...

Thanks. I figured that out and fixed. I was trying to figure out a way to allow login but disallow "self-registration" without updating the code directly.

You can disable new user registrations by modifying "System" -> "Preferences" -> "User Settings" : Allow New Registration
