I'm building a site for my computer store and although we haven't quite setup OScommerce just yet for selling online

We do however want to be able to throw specials on the front page and make it look good with images and such. I was wondering if there was a decent module I could use for this and just force that module to be the front page..

I thought about teh content module but once you pass through the front page of any item you can't add a picture from what I can remember about it.

if you go to system admin >> blocks, you can create your own block(html, images, etc.) and then define where you want it placed from the "visible in" menu.

That and it would be nice to have something simple my boss could edit out without having to deal with tables and the like.
