I was sure I saw a sports team module somewhere in the past, but I've searched everywhere I could think and drew blanks everywhere!

The closest I found was:

And this appears to be in dev / not used (and while I'm Canadian, mon Francaise ces't tres horrible!).

Can anyone direct me to some options currently available or some initiatives underway? Also, if it just DNE for Xoops, can anyone point me to either a stand-alone or other portalling system that could accomidate?

Sorry, I guess I should be more specific:

- Keep track of multiple teams (in one or more leagues)
- Keep schedule for each game (team vs. team, date, time, notes, status (results available, in progress, not played, etc)
- Possibly have more info for each team (members, 'position', picture, etc)
- Give interesting statistics from recorded information (ie. wins / losses / league leader / etc).

Again, I'm sure this has been done somewhere, I just can't find it. I even saw a project that appeared similar on module dev page, but it appears a dead link...

Well some time ago I saw League Manager Onlinein Modscentral, the download link there leads you to a German site. It seems to be a good module yet I think it is all in German and you would have to do all the translations. Oh and it was for XOOPS 1.3, don´t know if it has been upgraded.

Hmmm... FYI anyone interested in this module; no english files, and runs on e-xoops.

Guess I'll have to go barking up another tree on this one.

Did you try and take a look at my Team Module - I think it does what you ask for.

It Features:
- Multiple Team Administration
- Roster Management + Profiles
- Match Management
- Availability Management + stats
- Position Overview per Team and per Match
- Tactics Section per team
- Lineups per match, based on Tactics if available
- Navigation Block
- Notification on new matches and when lineups are set
- Custom number of maps per match (set per team)
- Custom ranks

Take a look at my test site and see if you like it, but wait a few days before you download it, I'm about to make a new release with some bugfixes.

Edit: Are you looking for a Team management module? Or a LEAGUE management module? mine's the first...
