It would be great if XOOPS can build in a Lan Party module... :)

The lan party module allows your members to sign up for events.
Mainly, it has:
Event Name
Event Date
Event singing date
Event description

and other options...
like [vegetrain][number of people to come with you]..etc.

This is great, if you need to count how many members will
join a certain event.

Such a module is a great idea. But I'd like it to be an universal event signup and management module, not just specialised to LAN parties.

I'm looking for something to manage events, classes whatever. I want attendees to sign up, list signed up people and later list who attended which type of event or what evets a specific user signed up for.

Yup, there was no post for a while. But, as your answer proves some people are still watching. In addition, the thread just move to the first page again as I posted.

Unfortunaltely the Module Development site mentioned above is down, so I tried it here.

Hmm..
no one seems to be interested in the LAn module..

my idea of a lan module is just a column for users to sign up for the upcoming lan party on a fixed date and time and game.

If possible..there can be some games that can be selected from a dropdown menu.

Example:
Game : Counterstrike
and users can to be terrorist or CT.

its a simple module but too bad..i am no programmer
