I just realized that I have the options set as "force lower case on transfer" on my ftp prog... this may have been the problem..

Re-uploading the /class folder...

That seemed to have done it.

Problem solved!

Solution: ftp program settings. (read above)

solved my blank-page problem after installation.
I use WS-FTP as ftp program. problem appeared to be the chmod settings of the upload/cache/templates_c folders and the mainfile.php.
these folders and file need to have chmod 777 ; but when you only click read AND write in WS-FTP they only get chmod 766. So make sure that in WS-FTP you tick read, write, AND execute for the Owner, the Group and Other (all 9 ticked)
After doing that.........yep it worked !

Yep.. I've had this problem for ages too! I use WS_FTP and it works now... thanks soo much. Oh and btw In chmod for mainfile.php you only tick 8 boxes, you need to untick the Other 'write' permission.

Ok I had the same problem then I CHMOD to 777 and it brings up a half ass page whats the problem?And I cant get into my admin page look here
