I followed your advice and installed and set the publisher module 1.07 on my Xoops 2.5.10 trial version. Everything seems to work well, but the fact that we can't see the number of articles per sub-category is rather obnoxious; in fact who uses the sub-categories, usually does not insert articles in the main categories and therefore the user does not immediately have an idea of how many articles there are in the module ...
it is solvable this little problem or I must already think of a "home made" solution ?

Where is it missing? In the Admin's Category view?
In the block "Categories Menu"?

Could you give us more details, and eventually a screenshot, so we can understand it better?

it is not an error ... but a module status ... I read in Admin Preferences :

Display articles count
Select “Yes” to display the article count within each category in the category summary table. Please note that the module currently only counts articles within each category and does not count within subcategories.

I was wondering if this possibility could soon be implemented ...
