Re: XOOPS 2.6.0 Alpha 2 released for Testing

I had another problem, I installed publisher, and cloned it une 'news' name. The link : http://localhost:8888/Xoops260/htdocs/modules/news/ in front office doesn't work. I had to point on http://localhost:8888/Xoops260/htdocs/modules/news/index.php to have acces.

Does anybody know this problem ? thanks for your help !

Edit : Very strange, I cloned again under 'smartsection' name and it works, so I delete 'news' and try again. And the problem is the same !

xoops_load is deprecated. See how to replace it in file /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/Xoops260/htdocs/include/functions.php line 58
renderImageNav() is deprecated since 2.6.0. Please use renderNav()

When I go in images tabs, somes images doesn't load and sometimes i even have blank screen but no errors... If I have this blank screen, every page of site don't work. I have to kill session to come back on workfull website

I checked the package 2.6 and we do not use this function. This error should appear in a module that is not compatible 2.6.

Thanks for this error. Now it's ok in SVN.

I can not reproduce this error. Must uninstall the extension image and reinstall.

Re: XOOPS 2.6.0 Alpha 2 released for Testing

I have updated all my modules for 2.6.0, I am done but I have a couple of issues.

1. i have the comments working but they only work if I am logged in as the webmaster, if I login as a registered user I can see the comments at the bottom of my page but if I click on Publish Comments I get an error message:

sorry, you don't have permission to access this area

2. Basically the same thing with notifications, everything works perfect as the webmaster but if I click on anything to do with notifications as a registered user i get the error :

sorry, you don't have permission to access this area

Anyone have the same issues?

maybe we need to add comments and notifications to the 'Module Access rights' under groups in the admin.

Thanks,
John
