I use GNU3 with my modules they always have been!! For years!!
Really?
Come on, Simon, why do we have to argue about it?
The SVN shows that every module that you've released had GPL2 license, e.g.:
- Xortify- TwitterBombThe other major CMS (WordPress, Drupal, Joomla) are using "GPL2 or later". I don't know about WordPress or Joomla, but I know that Drupal doesn't accept any module/plugins/themes, unless they are also released as "GPL2 or later". This is all to keep everything consistent.
So this is not some conspiracy against you, where you have to get upset about it, as you seem to be, but a desire to keep everything consistent and legally correct, similar to all the other major CMS.
GPL3 was never an issue, because I've never seen a GPL3 license included with your modules. Even in IPLog you have included originally GPL2 license (
see here)
Only today, few hours ago, you have added GPL3 in IPLog, and that's why I've made you aware of the license issue.
Thanks for your understanding.
