I installed it and still dont know why im in Andorra like any others. maybe its because it is a test site?
It is a good attempt for a log module at least the online time and IP had been logged.
I like a history/log module in the next core and i sent a request.

Are you sure you registered at IPinfoDB and have put in the api key in settings?

I use GNU3 with my modules they always have been!! For years!!

Really?

Come on, Simon, why do we have to argue about it?

The SVN shows that every module that you've released had GPL2 license, e.g.:

- Xortify
- TwitterBomb

The other major CMS (WordPress, Drupal, Joomla) are using "GPL2 or later". I don't know about WordPress or Joomla, but I know that Drupal doesn't accept any module/plugins/themes, unless they are also released as "GPL2 or later". This is all to keep everything consistent.

So this is not some conspiracy against you, where you have to get upset about it, as you seem to be, but a desire to keep everything consistent and legally correct, similar to all the other major CMS.

GPL3 was never an issue, because I've never seen a GPL3 license included with your modules. Even in IPLog you have included originally GPL2 license (see here)

Only today, few hours ago, you have added GPL3 in IPLog, and that's why I've made you aware of the license issue.

Thanks for your understanding.

I would suggest a change in the dashboard stats layout. Make it three columns with:

country count - country minutes - country average
Region count - region minutes - region average
Continent count - continent minutes - continent average

Would it fit? for a nice overview it makes sense to see those statistics next to each other.

I guess Adverage (on the dashboard) is a spelling mistake and must be average?

+1

And since we speak of improvements:

- let's change to minutes from seconds

- in the Log tab lets:
-- add check box for each entry for selection, incl. a top check box that would select all visible entries
-- at the bottom add two buttons:
a) delete selected (it would delete the selected entries)
b) delete all entries

I saw all country, region and continent names are coded in the database. I guess this is where the module also gets the names used on the pages. Not a very big deal... But it would be nice to show this names in local language when translating the module. Do I have to change the sql file or is there a more simple way?

You probably could use in the database the country codes (e.g. _COUNTRY_AD for Andorra), and pull the country names from /language/XXX/countries.php
