I am attempting to upload a video clip (in .flv format) to my website, which was built in Xoops 2.4.4. I went to The Content Editor-selected my link and chose to edit the content, the I chose the Insert/Edit flv icon. The system then took me to a screen to upload my video clip, which I did. After selecting the file to upload, the next option is "send it to the server", which I opted to do. After a few moments, I contilually get an error message that reads "invalid file type", which I cannot believe is accurate because I have converted a .wmv video clip to .flv format using at least a half dozen video converter programs and none will upload to the server thru the Content Editor Module.

Can anyone help, PLEASE?

I guess that what you call "content editor module" is part of a module, a separate content editor module does not exist... Can you be more precise about what module gives this error?

It's the "Content Module". Then Edit Content. Then select the link you want to edit, etc.
