If you have time, could you convert makepdf to use tcpdf instead of fpdf? This would simplify things, and would help us to move all our modules to tcpdf.
For the more adventurous, it would be nice to have a module/plugin, similar to Tag or Waiting module, that other modules could use to get the PDF functionality.
The "host" module (like News) would check if the PDF Plugin/module exist, and in Preferences the admin would have an option to offer PDF to the users or not.
This way we wouldn't have to write a separate PDF solution for each module.
Any takers?
