WF-Links 1.09 has now been updated to XOOPS 2.5.x Admin GUI and tested on XOOPS 2.5.5 and PHP 5.3.13

WF-Links is a module for XOOPS that helps you to create a link section with multiple categories and sub-categories..

Here is a short selection of features offered:
-Create multiple categories and subcategories for your links
-Submission permissions per Category
-Moderation permissions per Category
-Choose to validate link submissions first or have them automaticly accepted
-Automatic approval for selected groups
-Validate links
-Add (automatic) screenshots to your links
-Add a description to your links
-Add an address incl. Google Maps,Yahoo Maps and vCard
-Print option
-Allow user ratings and comments for your links
-Define publishing and expiration times for every link (optional)

I am testing the module with xoops 2.5.4. Under the hood (admin) the module works fine but I can't see the links on the frontpage. Between the brackets behind the category links I can see there are links, but the category page is empty

[dutch] Flips, begrijp niet goed wat je bedoeld. Kan ik het ergens ff bekijken wat je bedoeld of een screenshot? Voor zover ik vast stel zijn er geen problemen. Heb dan wel xoops 2.5.5[/dutch]

[edit] Nevermind, see what you mean on nlxoops.nl. It does show the count of links within category, but links aren't showing within category.
I don't have that problem on my website. Then again have to admit I haven't updated to the very latest version. Version where Mamba took care of resolving the warning msg considering the array problem. (which didn't -yet- affect functionality of the module)
Could be that after solving this array-bug this bug evolved.

To see if that is the problem, try to reinstall the version before the array fix release. Then see what happens. If problem then isn't there, we know the fix occurs this new/ýour' problem.

hello,

I ran wfilinks 1.09 with xoops
today I see that since a few days ( probably since my upgrade from xoops 2.5 to 2.54, but I am not sure) all the published date of the links I put after, are dated on 1st january 1970

I tried to force the actual date in the admin but no way: it didn't change.

I tough it was e problem of compatibility when I saw you post and I upgraded with this version ( which is also a 1.09?)
the upgrade worked but the issue was still there.

In the data base I saw that ( probably for standardization reason) the dates are coded as decimal.
the published date appreared, for exemple
38400 in place of 1340008740
or 79200 in place of 1340827028

I changed it mannually an now it looks good
but when I input a new record, the published date is still 1/1/1970

One important detail is that I work in french date format ( D/M/Y )

do you have an idea about this?
don't be too serious, just do things seriously

I did it

as far as i see, everything ok

except for the dates : the date field appear by default filled with this:
_CAM1_January+0100RJanAMCET

I can force manually the date and it works in the english format ( M/D/Y), but the calendar doesn't work.
i tried to input a article in AMS and the same issue is there
in fact, the date is correct if I don't touch the field)

I tired to input a new message in the forum ( newbb-CBB3.08) and it works fine for the date managment)

Can you check if you have in your /language/french/calendar.php
