Re: XOOPS 2.5.5 Final Released

This is a great thing!

Hopefully this means that we can focus on 2.6 so it can be moved to Beta soon!

That's the plan, although we'll start first with an Alpha.

Re: XOOPS 2.5.5 Final Released

Thanks, Xavier, for your kind words!

There were a lot of people involved in testing and bug fixing, and the big "THANK YOU" goes to all of them for the good Teamwork.

Hopefully, the Core team will be able to present XOOPS 2.6.0 Alpha soon.

I'll be focusing now on the "Basic Module Pack" - we need to release it ASAP, so new users can download it together with XOOPS 2.5.5....

I hope, we'll get more and more people involved in testing and bug fixing!

Re: XOOPS 2.5.5 Final Released

There will still be a lineup of releases before 2.6 alpha?

Type: 2.5.6, 2.5.7, 2.5.8, 2.5.9

one file -> http://xoops.svn.sourceforge.net/view ... -3-10_french.pdf?view=log
two file -> http://xoops.svn.sourceforge.net/view ... -3-10_french.pdf?view=log
three file -> http://xoops.svn.sourceforge.net/view ... -3-10_french.pdf?view=log

normal ? the kernel is there a library ebook ?

this language (except english) http://xoops.svn.sourceforge.net/view ... dules/protector/language/ - should not be in the kernel
idem here -> http://xoops.svn.sourceforge.net/view ... /mail/phpmailer/language/

for tinymce, why not use this file hierarchy htdocs/class/xoopseditor/tinymce/tiny_mce/ (see here http://xoops.svn.sourceforge.net/view ... seditor/tinymce/tiny_mce/) instead of htdocs/class/xoopseditor/tinymce/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/

Good points Kris, the Protector language files are already removed from the distribution, per DCrussader's earlier message. And I'll remove the phpMailer files as well

I just wish that you would provide these comments when we were in the testing phase, and not after we've released it. That's what the testing phase is all about.

I think, it was set this way to keep the same structure as TinyMCE has, so we just need to copy the files over without trying to adjust every time to some XOOPS proprietary folder structure and worry that we've placed a file into a wrong directory. Plus, I think, it was for a while this way already.
