I have the same problem in 2.5.4. The solution mentioned in this thread works fine.

However, when I look in the revised version on SourceForge.net using Trabis' link, the following code has not been removed in post.php (line 82):

// If the date format is wrong

if (
         !
preg_match('`[0-9]{4}-[01][0-9]-[0123][0-9]`'$_POST['event_start']['date'])
             || !
preg_match('`[0-9]{4}-[01][0-9]-[0123][0-9]`'$_POST['event_end']['date'])
     ) {

redirect_header(

'index.php'3_MD_EXTCAL_WRONG_DATE_FORMAT ""

implode(''$GLOBALS['xoopsSecurity']->getErrors())
         );
         exit;
     }

Should it still be removed or not ?

Thanks !

I have a similar problem with Xoops 2.5.4 and Extcal 2.22 .

I changed the code as described above, but selecting a date from the calendar-field is giving me the error 'Wrong date format'. When I enter the date as dd-mm-yyyy it is approved and shown in the calendar (not yyyy/mm/dd as proposed).
Some users that I spoke do not get an error (when using dd-mm-yyyy) but the event is not showing up, not in the calendar, not in the admin section.

Since the new Extcal is still in beta I am not able to use it on my website and I do not have the ability to use it in a testing environment. How can I help developing this module? I really like it and I see a lot of opportunities!

Hello
Sorry, but this season I have really a lot of work;
I make every effort to deliver the current version for next week.
I need to retrieve a few sleepless nights, and it should get better.
A little patience and you will see that it was worth it.

JJdai

PS: Thanks to Mister google lol

I'm looking forward to see the changes and I will keep you posted if I have any suggestions.

Do you need Mister Google for translation? J'aime bien voir les changements. Si j'ai des suggestions, ils seront 'posted' ici.

hi there,
I'm using the svn version linked by mamba on xoops 2.5.4,
I don't receive the wrong date format bug anymore but event are not created..
I fill the form, I send it, I get the message 'event created', but I can't see the event anywhere in the event list or in the database.
this is happening also when editing an event.. changes are not applied
the debug does not report anything

someone can suggest me a solution? need this working for a site which is opening soon..

thanks
Ian
