I'm having a problem with xforum 5.51 and the spacing of some of the checkboxes

As you can see, the alignment is vertical instead of horizontal

I'm using xoops 2.4.4 with teh "rational" theme. I can't find anywhere in the code or css that's causing this.

Can someone offer a suggestion?

TIA!!!

Edit styles! Or give the reference to a site with a forum
In the browser Firefox there is an addition firebug, and at once it will be clear to you, what styles to edit.

Its your CSS for XOOPS has nothing to do with XForum. You need to fix your xoops.css see 2.4 from 2.3 support forum there is an article somewhere in there.

What about using the latest xforum version?

I downloaded 5.76??

Would that fix this problem?

Re: problem with xforum 5.51

I can try installing the version I have on my system and see if it works...

If it doesn't I can try to figure out why...

I have 2.4.5 installed on my test server at home.

Any reason why you didn't upgrade to 2.4.5? It was more of a bug fix, maintenance release. I would NOT move to 2.5 at this time as there are numerous bugs but 2.4.5 was supposed to fix some. It is what I use.

no reason. i was always happy with 2.4.4 and never had any bug problems. if it's not going to kill any of my modules then i suppose i could upgrade

Re: problem with xforum 5.51

Mamba likes to point out that if your modules work fine with 2.5.1a then you should use it because it has some security fixes as well. I just know for me that the vast majority of modules work fine with 2.4.5 and quite a few of them that I tried broke with 2.5 but may work now. I suggest to people before they try 2.5 they go with 2.4.5 to make sure their modules work then move to 2.5 afterwards and if the modules don't work then submit a bug report.

Kind of a pain right now so I sometimes just suggest going to 2.4.5 and staying there until 2.5.2 comes out and is shown to be bug free.

Will follow through with you on your PM and see if I can help you figure out a fix.
