how to install the yogurt module?

I am very new to xoops, and i managed to get it downloaded fine to my wamp server on windows. I do not know how to upload the yogurt module and can find no instructions anywhere. It contains many files including class and include. Can anyone help please. where do all these files go?

Don't use Yogurt, as it had some bugs, and is not being maintained.

Are there any alternative "Social Networking" modules that are being looked after?
If not, there needs to be. Honestly it needs to be in the basic module pack.

I actually have Yogurt installed and working, but I am aware of the security risks. So I am very careful about registration..

This obviously isn't a good idea for the long term, but I keep hoping to find someone who will help fix the issues...

The more I know, the more I know that I really didn't wanna know.

Thx for that link Dante7237.

I like the look of the Yogurt module, but these issues obviously need addressing. If someone with security savvy could post some code fixes here on XO, it would be valuable for the many people already using Yogurt (me included!).
A thread is for life. Not just for Christmas.
