xforums and 2.5.1 issues?

Hi is anyone else having problems with xforums on the latest release of xoops? i have a new installation and i cant add subcatergories in the admin. BUT i alsio cant start new topics or reply to any of the current topics. The buttons arent even there?? any help is appreciated!

I was not able to produce the error you talk about on http://xoops.demo.chronolabs.coop with XForum 5.76 and XOOPS 2.5.1a

I also suggest you set your template default settings for permissions and apply them across the board. If the Reply and New Topic button is missing that means you have not the permission to use those in your current setting this could have to do with the template not being set when you created them.

thanks for your help. i fixed it by uninstalling and reinstalling the module.
