New Modules Not Displaying

I have just upgraded to the lastest version from 2.4.5 ..and now when I upload a new module they are not displaying in the module section of the admin panel, meaning I cannot install any modules.

any ideas appreciated

Gordo,
Go to Administration->Modules. Above, and to the right-hand side of the table of installed modules you'll see a "Install Modules" button. Click the button to take you to the list of uninstalled modules to install.

sadly tried that and get a blank white page.

Here's a couple of things you might try:

- Turn on debug to see if any error messages are displayed.
- Try deleting the newly uploaded modules. Then go to Admin->Modules and click 'Install Modules' button again. It could be that one of the newly uploaded modules is causing the issue.

I tried that and still no joy, I run the upgrade again and was left with every page blank, no real errors stood out to me.

I back up the data base, and then dropped all the tables, did a complete fresh install, and will dump the data base back into the new table. Everything is working now, the modules are all showing.

The items that I had posted in news were all for last season so a clean state for a new season isn't such a bad thing. (That English Soccer)
