In order to cut down on SPAM I am trying to block anyone registering with the following domains. The first 3 settings are suppose to block any domains coming from russia, china, or india. Except its not working like I had hoped. The other domains I don't know, they are just in there as an added protection, so it could be that the whole thing doesn't work all together. Am I doing it wrong, if so how can I fix it?

Running XOOPS 2.4.2

^ means starting with and I suppose you want ending with .ru
This should be specified with a trailing $ as eg .ru$ and so on.

So I should drop the ^ completely then? So everything looks like this: .ru$|.cn$|.in$|mailinator.com$|

Hi,

I recently started a free webservice that may help you to decline registration of users with fake / one-time / trash / disposable email addresses. Currently it detects > 1.400 fakemail domains.

Have a look at http://www.block-disposable-email.com.

Maybe you can easily integrate it according to your needs.

Best regards,

Gerold
