Hello,

Can anyone please tell me how to (what do I change) to change the order of City & Postal Code in this module.

It works well, but there are a few things which need to be adjusted. Right now it shows:
Name
Address
Postal Code
City

I need it to be
Name
Address
City
Postal Code

Addresses & Google Maps - Version : 1.72
Author : Rota Lucio + Shine aka Triangle
Credits : Kazumi Ono - The XOOPS Project

Thanks so much.

you can edit the template files...
change this template "addresses_viewlink.html"

this way you can change fileds position...

I'm working on a new Addresses module... just wait (or help me)
I'll commit an alpha on repository asap...

So cool!!! This is the best news of the day :)

I was asking if we could add, like in the profile module, the possibility to add fields by ourselves ? This would be so great :)

Regards

I missed the original release of this module. I found and installed after reading here. The tie in with google maps including the map search is great. What will be different in the new addresses module?

Thank you so much. I haven't yet tried to change the fields, but very much appreciate your reply.

Can't wait to see the new up-date/release. Please keep me on your mailing list.

Also, can you please tell me how to change the order in the sub-menu for this module.

I show: Submit, Popular, Top Rated

I would like Top Rated first, then Popular then Submit

Also, a user who has no editing rights - how can I remove the submit menu link just for them?

Appreciate the help; many thanks.

Hi webowner,

To create your menus as you want, i advice you to use a specific module to do it, like "multimenu" module

If you use the latest Wflinks (clone it) module you've got a good and nice addresses module.
Another module you can use is TDMdownloads. Clone it and adjust it a little bit. This module has a feature to add extra fields.

If I am correct adjust xoopsversion.php of this module. Here is where the mainmenu items are.

Many thanks for all the help - much appreciated.

Lucioroto - I have tried to change "address_link.html". This way the city was move up to the top with postal code below - uploaded back to server; refreshed page but nothing changed.

Am I missing something?

I do not have a "address_viewlink.html" file ???

Never mind it worked :)

I had to change "addresses_viewaddress.html" for the single address entry, and "addresses_address.html" for the main address page.

Excellent, now City is above Postal Code - perfect.

next, I"m working on the menu...
