Is it possible to use twice a module ?

Hi,

I was asking if it is possible to use twice a module.

For example, i would like to use twice xnews (by renaming it):
- modules/xnews/ : for my news
- modules/xnews2/ : for my pages

Will i get a conflict on my database, following the installation, or not ? Which table will be created ?

This is called cloaning your modules and some are easy to clone while others are not.

You can find information elsewhere about how to clone a module. It is NOT as simple as renaming the directory. You have to change things throughout all the files in a module.

You may also have other issues that you run into as the templates apparently need to all be named differently and the DB DEFINITELY needs to have a different name.
