Hi All,

What I want is a membership area for people (users + administrators) to log in with user name and password to access the various sections of Xoops.

Can I make the User Profile Module as the main membership log in screen on the main home page ?

Will administrators & users also be able to log in with this panel ?

Any help greatly appreciated.

The way it is set up right now, is an back-end administrator has the top menu (to log in) with user menu 'open' below.

How do I block the back-end administrator menu (top menu on default theme) - so only the users / or administrators can log in on the bottom menu to see the relevant info for them ?

Please help. Thank you.

Hello,

Can anyone please respond.

Have the Members Log In / Password page ONLY appear on the front page..

Not, have the Members + Admin log in password appear..

Just the members area...

Any one please help.

You can make the user profile page as the main homepage, but i don't suggest this, by changing the default module in general preferences.

The admin page will only appear to users in groups which have access to it, this is controlled in the groups section, a standard registered user or Parrishinor will not see this.

I hope I have answered your questions, i am not sure your english is broken in this forum post, so i have answered it as best I can

Thankyou for the reply.

On my site currently a menus is viewable for those who do not log in. How do I make it so only "logged in" people see this? Before they log in - it is blocked.

I have 2 menus on the left side of my site. The top for me webmaster/admin access and the bottom menu which is a menu of modules.

This menu / module menu I would like to make private, until someone logs in.

Can this be done?, and if so how?

Then on the main front page I'd like to have a user log in page only, with maybe a small link for only me - webmaster to loig into the 'back-end'

thank u so much, look forward to any replies - and quicly please.
