Blocks are not showing UP

Hello All

I have installed the newly updated module "Article".
Some of the BLOCKS namely ( Recent Article and Articles are not showing UP). I checked it with IE 8. There they do show up but in Firefox they dont.

Also when I add an article the Block "Recent Articles ( In IE 8) " doesent replace the old article with the new or the recent one.

I could not find outwhat the problem is. Are there many others having the same trouble with Article Module?

Any help is appreciated.

It may be a problem with caching.
Erase the caches of XOOPS and your browsers.
For low access sites, you may have module caching off.

Thanks for the instructions. I tried that many times before. Nothing changes (except that bocks which were showing up IN IE 8 now doesent show up). btw the module caching is off already.

It is quite annoying. I tried t reinstall the module it still had the same trouble.

I hope there is a solution for it.

XOOPS, module, PHP, MySQL version?
Did you run the file check (see release notes)?
Did you update the article module in module admin?
Any debug errors or messages doing that?

Hello Again

Xoops Version 2.4.5.
PHP Version 5.2.14
MySQL Version: 5.0
Module Version: Article 2.0

I did run the checksum and everything is fine nothing is missing.
Yes I did update the article module in de admin area.
There are No debug errors related to the Article module.

Did you select (highlight) the required categories to show and do the usergroups have permission to see the categories and the blocks?
Do the blocks show on other pages?

Once again thanks for the instructions. I just selected the option ( show on All Pages) and it did show up. I changed it back to the option (show on top page) and it worked. Still dont know what the exact problem was but the problem issolved for now.
