i have a problem with registration e mail

when one of the visitors of the site ,register for an account

i am not receiving (as an admin)any e mail that tells me about the new member

even :Select group to which new user notification mail will be sent* webmasters
and :
Select group to which activation mail will be sent



plz help me

XOOPS version?
Do the users receive email?
Do you have a generic mail address as eg gmail, yahoo, ...?
Is the site using its domain as sender for emails?
