When you try to register in my new XOOPS, the systems tells you that you are not allowed to access that area. Of course, in the "user info settings" I have YES in "allow new user registration". Any idea how I can solve this?

Probably, profile module has not access permission for anonymous.

Yes, you are right It's quite complicated to get it working.

I have the same problem, no matter what I try I cannot get the register new user to work, it says I do not have permission
