Trabis, I'm still a little bit puzzled by the test in the other thread.

It assumed that if xoopsformelement was loaded, that that would be also the case for XoopsFormDhtmlTextArea.
This is only true when consequently xoopsformloader is used, whenever a formelement is required.

In that view, loading individual formelements as needed, would be against the rules.
Besides what is the point of having xoopsformloader, if you do individual loadings?

Ghia, that code used xoopsformelement has a check to see if xoopsformloader was used and if all forms where loaded and that is not correct because elements and forms can(and should) be loaded individually(without use of xoopsformloader).
xoopsformloader is a convenience file, an easy way for loading every form and form elements. It's usage should be avoided for better performance.

I hope with the php5 XOOPS coming releases we can deprecate that file and make use of autoload to avoid having to explicitly load the elements.

No sure if I answered your question.

Hi Alian
see this thread here

https://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=75072&forum=74&post_id=346152#forumpost346152

I´m standing in front of the same problem. As i see, in the trunk of the 2.6 versions, this change again.
