Hi all,

I didn't upgrade my sites from 2.3.3 to 2.4 yet.

First of all, I need to know does xo-rewrite url rewrite smarty module work the same way like in previous version. What I ment is just add one line in code like before, or now it's not needed.

Second is about Protector. Now there is no need for adding lines in mainfile.php. Is that all?

About the hacks...
There is a post on forum for comment+name without user registration, but it is for 2.4RC. Does it work with 2.4 final?

1- xo-rewrite url rewrite - i do not know about this

2- yes you need to patch the mainfile

3- yes it work if you edit the files Manualy , if you copy the files and overwrite the new files maybe it going work but No Gurentee

after upgrade to 2.4 it works even without your header.php being hacked (but i hacked it anyways just in case it wouldn't )

no, with the new Preloads in 2.4.0, you don't need to modify the mainfile anymore for Protector that is part of the installation.
