if im not mistaken http://www.bladitech.com/backend.php would display your News module rss feeds. You dont have it installed that is why it wont work.

You must set the 'publish on front page' selection box to Yes, when editing the article. It seems none have this attribute, because they are not listed when accessing /modules/news/ (compare to News on XOOPS.org).

For the other modules, check the preferences, some modules offer RSS feeds others don't. Some syndication modules as RSSFit may require a plugin to allow a specific module to publicize its contents. These are to searched on the internet (google for rssfit plugin required_module_name) or to be written by yourself by taking the provided plugins as example.

/backend.php works only with News.
Doesn't the SmartSection module come with its own backend.php?

Why don't you use /modules/catads/backend.php for RSS output?
The file can also be a starting base for a plugin of RSSfit.

Thanks for your interest.
I have a problem with encoding of backend.php file.

My xoops site does not support utf-8 so all the stories comes with weird characters. Do you know maybe how to modify this backend.php file to make it works under iso 8859-1?

Check out the News modules backend file. There is an implicit conversion made from ISO to UTF for the XML of the RSS with the xoops_utf8_encode function. (Not sure for the latest version but it was the case in 1.56 - 1.63)
