META Description on front page

Hi

I'm using SmartSection as module for start page. The problem is that there is no meta description on index.php.

When I go to some of categories or articles all is ok, but on front page it isn't.

Is there any way my front page to have meta description? I've tried Defacer, but it doesn't work with xo-rewrite mod. I think.

maybe try to add something like

$xoTheme->addMeta( 'meta', 'description', "your description here");


in your index page

Hm.. when I put that in tempate in tags, it doesn't work.

Alo, when I put it in category.php, it doesn't work eather.

also this doesn't work:
<{php}>$xoTheme->addMeta( 'meta', 'description', 'My description here'); <{/php}>


in templates.
