what's about xoopsmultimailer.php ? is it contain $SMTPSecure too ?

Yes, you can configure XOOPS to work with GMAIL (SMTP).

Go to System Options, Preference, Mail Setup

Choose SMTPAuth

SMTP Host: ssl://smtp.gmail.com:465

SMTPAuth username: yourmail@gmail.com
SMTPAuth password: yourpassword

SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.

Maybe it is just for gmail account but not for google apps
