Hi,

I have been given the task of converting XOOPS users to mediawiki. I would like to just copy the password hashes, but it depends on if they are compatible.

Does anyone know what the hash used to store user passwords in the database backend is? Or does XOOPS just use the built in password functions of mysql? The version of XOOPS is 2.2.3, the database engine is mysql-server-5.0.45-7.el5 (centos 5.3).

Thanks for your help...

There is also a mediawiki module for XOOPS, in that way you can have them both.
