Hi

I am trying to "switch" to another language in a module that was developed based on SmartSection 2.14, and are having a problem.
Does someone have experience, and can help? I know that there are some files that refer to \module name\language\english which i changed to refer to \module name\language\the new language name ... is this the only thing I need to do?
Thanks
Ilan

ilanamit, welcome on the XOOPS forum!

What are you trying to accomplish?
Is your site running in English or something else?
Do you want that language also for the 'Smartsection' module? Or what?
Can you explain more in concreto your objectivs?

Hi.

Let me try to explain in more details.
My site was originally developed in English.
I wanted to change it into Hebrew.
I created in each directory where there is a sub directory /language/english another directory /language/hebrew
I copy the files from the english directory to the Hebrew directory and change the text strings.
I then change all references to /language/english in all exist files to refer to /language/heberw
and its still not working ...
I have other issue related to the language but i need to first solve this.

Thanks

ilan

You don't need to change references in programs etc for that.
Go to the admin system general preferences and change the language setting for your site from english to hebrew.

That's how it works.
You may also check on XOOPS Israel for language files.

Yes.
Be sure there are also everywhere hebrew directories.
If you don't have time to translate, copy simply the english to hebrew and translate later.
