Which settings to use then backup database through phpmyadmin?

I need to export my database so I can import it to my new server. Is there something special to think about? Also the new server have Php5 and mysql5 (old one php4/mysql4).

I'm unsure which settings to use here. I want to be sure before starting.

I mean these settings: Add DROP TABLE, ADD IF NOT EXISTS etc..

I love Xoops!

Your settings are OK. (I would prefer to zip)
The XOOPS version needs to be the same.
If the domainname changes, you may need to do some replacements first.

Hi,

You need to select the database tables ("Select All").

In addition to those items that you've already checked, I also check "Complete inserts" and "Extended inserts".

As Ghia says, use compression. I prefer "gzip" but which you use is up to you.

Ghia@ It's not a XOOPS installation he is backing up - but the princip is the same.

hipoonios@ What's the story? Why ask in XOOPS (we love to help?)

Now I see the signature with the xoops-sites
