newbb admin page; some functions don't work

I'm using XOOPS 2.0.17 newbb 3.08

On admin page of newbb some functions come as blank pages, like; permissions, order, prune, reports, and digest.

Right now as an admin I can see the latest forums on the main page of my website but no other members can.

Is it possible to change the permissions from modules\newbb\admin\admin_permissions.php manually so that members can see the forums?

Also reply option works but "new topic" option doesn't work. I think it would still help me a lot if only the members could see the forums and reply...

I just saw something; when I looked at the admin/system/groups I didn't see the forum newbb module there, therefore noone else can see it...

it seems I have two separate issues

Yes, it iss... I got help to put the website back on but the forum is damaged.

I take it that no one ever faced this problem before and therefore there is no solution...

Time to switch to another program...

Was the upgrade successful?
Else restore your backup from before the upgrade.

phpMyAdmin has some functions to verify and repair tables.

No the upgrade was not successful so I restored the website back, now the newbb 3.08 is not fully working.

No table is giving any error, I checked the whole database and everything seems to be in order.
