I recently downloaded this module but it seems that despite being a final version it seems to be missing a good deal of important functionality, unless I'm just being silly and can't find it, so I was wondering if anyone can elucidate on what I could do?

Problems:
The blocks 'Recent forum posts/topics' among others just don't work/show up no matter where I put them, and there seems to be no template data for them either.

I can't find anywhere where I can sticky a topic!

I can't find anywhere where I can lock a topic!

Additionally when I put a signature with a picture in using IMG tags it keeps turning them into javascript thumbnails which I don't want it to do, does anyone have any ideas, any help with any of these issues would be greaty appreciated!

Some functionality is not present in X-forum. You may find this in the (more complicated) NewBB/CBB 3.08.

Oh great. Do those other modules work with the newest Xoops? Can i transfer my posts and stuff from one module to the other?

NewBB/CBB 3.08 should be no problem (a version 4.00 is in the works).
For conversion you will have to investigate the table structures and then doing it in with SQL in phpMyAdmin. Dry runs are recommended with eg XAMPP on your PC. Examples for some conversion scripts are here (from punBB, to NewBBex)

Alright I'll take a stab with CBB3.08 for now, but do you have any idea about the other issue :

(This actually affects all modules - whenever i use the img tag it auto-thumbnails it, whatever module I'm in. How do i change this??)

Alright, I managed to change the image size before it gets thumbnailed with that topic, cheers for the help.

P.S In X-Forum the expand/minimise forum button doesn't workj either. buggy rubbish ;)
