Hi there,

I can't believe that I'm the first person to ask an IE8 question?

Anyway just downloaded IE8 and my site's left block group appear wider than they should - can any one a bit more techi tell me a) what html tag is likley causing this problem and b) where it's likley to reside for me to go in and adjust it. (http://www.colournation.com)

BTW everytime i tried to get to the xoop.org site in IE8 the browser tab crashed and restarted - like 20 times - so maybe it's not just me who's in trouble. :)

same problem here, ie 8 RC1 keeps crashing with xoops.org

You guys are very brave testing a M$ RC version

As for the left column width thing, that will be a .css rather than .html problem. Can't help with the solution.... I won't be installing IE8 until it's a stable version..... and then some!

im not very techi, but i rekon it could be a css setting specific to ie7 that is now not used cos its ie8.

if you dont know much about code, use stylizer to edit the css, best program i found and saved me lots of time, i think thier address is http://www.skybound.ca i purchased it, but there is a trial version.

you can edit it visually there.

and NO im not affiliated with stylizer, just think its a good program

fix your book online button, its compressed to the max.

try using a gif insead.

My IE8 also crashes when trying to access http://www.xoops.org ?

Using IE8 daily and not had this problem with any other website, including many other XOOPS based sites!
XOOPS 2.0.18/ PHP 5.0 / MySQL 4.1.21-standard
