I need a module that works in xoops2.3.2b with php5.2.6 and and sql5.0.67-log
I have tried xreagregator and xmline I have heard that there is a module called headlines but can not find it.
any help would be welcome thank you

i'm trying to get headlines to work (after losing it somehow) in an old instalation and also in a new installation ... neither is going anywhere .. i just get a blank white page after installing it

oh my goodness! lol ... thanks .. i guess my frustration gave me tunnel vision :)
however, now, i'm pulling my hair out cuz i can't seem to get the module into the folder to install it for some odd reason ... it's xhld-3.0.tar.gz and no matter where i download it to, when i open dreamweaver OR the file mgr from my hosting site, it's not there! no matter where i put it and i've tried several different locations .... making me nutz never had this happen before

I don't know what you are doing with the downloaded archive, but normally you have to unpack it on your local PC and then upload the files to the required directories.

Some modules of GIJOE require the use of a trust path outside the webroot (cfr Protector) and have parts in the archive to be installed in two separated module directories!

Try to unpack the file using winzip /winrar and then upload the module to your modules folder using FTP or your site's cp...

i did that ... still can't seem to install or even FIND it ... doesn't matter where i extract it to or save to ... this is unbelievable lol ... i had no problem adding modules or themes with version 2 .. but this new version is knockin' me thru a loop .. i think i'm giving up ... thanks anyway
