Even with Captcha we are getting spam

For the most part it appears only our contact us form is still vulnerable. I just now in one hit got 85 spam submissions via our contact us form. I don't know if they are bypassing the captcha some how or what is going on. Any suggestions??? Many legitimate people use the contact us form as well so disabling isn't really an option.

It's the captcha itself: it's already hacked. I've suggested to add ReCAPTCHA though, which would solve this for you ;)

That's a CAPTCHA system that updates when it's hacked.
I used to use this account, but no longer.

It's not possible though (or not on an easy way) yet to put ReCAPTCHA in XOOPS ;)
I used to use this account, but no longer.

Ah so it's not an existing mod :(

Guess we are disabling the contact us form then. 85 in a matter of minutes is too much.

It is part of the forumlaire module.

Did you receive the forms from an anonymous user (it is marked in the mail)?
Are you sure the captcha displayed for anonymous users?
Did you test it? (Try to enter a wrong or no code to see if the entry got rejected).
Is it the captcha from Frameworks that is used by your Formulaire?
You can then change some things in /Frameworks/captcha/configs.php for making it more difficult.
Check that
le="color: #000000"><?php "mode" => 'image',
else it would be possible to automate.
